In 2013, a decree was issued stating that data recorded by cash registers should be transmitted to the tax authority via an online, mobile data communication channel in order to legalize the economy. The regulation defines the service, only a network-independent SIM chip can be confirmed in an online cash register. There were short development and manufacturing deadlines for cash register distributors and the number of mandatory users put a huge pressure on market participants. We have successfully supported the distributors’ manufacturing process and the very first online cash register installed in a live environment was related to us.

POS terminal
In April 2020, the government announced that merchants using online cash registers will be obligated to provide electronic payment option everywhere from January 2021. Mobil Adat Ltd. relying on the POS terminal installation experience of CompuWorx Plc., entered into a partnership with Budapest Bank Plc., jointly offering a competitive payment solution to its customers.
The installation of POS terminals is ongoing nationwide. It is very important for our partner to be able to keep data communication costs low by the package offer we provided. This is the first solution on POS terminal market that offers a roaming service and so far in this area, many have found that our new SIMs eliminate the potential communication errors of the terminals.
Vending machines
Our company provides domestic roaming enabled M2M data communication to comply „technical requirements of food vending machines without handling personnel, the operation and servicing of such vending machines and the provision of data recorded in vending machines to the state tax and customs authority 31/2016 (IX. 2.) NGM Regulation” via SIM chips built into the ACU (Automatic Control Unit) installed in the vending machines. Telemetry data generated by vending machines are transmitted to the Supervision Service Provider using an encrypted data communication channel via the APN provided by Mobile Adat Ltd.
Smart metering
We were among the first in Hungary to start the data communication service of Smart Metering solutions in test and live applications. In addition to the initial 2G / 3G / 4G technology, we provide closed-channel NB-IoT (LTE Cat NB1) service with nationwide coverage from 2019 and new technologies (CatM) are being introduced.

Beachegg is a beach safe developed entirely in Hungary. It can be borrowed on the beach and can be opened and closed by a bracelet. The locked safe will alarm if moved, and sends a signal to the Beachegg rental guard, providing continuous position information so it can be found easily. In the event of an attempted theft, it is extremely important that the alarm is transferred to several directions immediately.
